The current modernisation scheme under the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR), would lead to a total sale of about Rs 72 crore every year for the New Bhopal Textile Mills, an Union textile ministry statement said. This is the second phase of reviving the sick mill. With Rs 26 crore, the first phase of assistance was undertaken in 2008. The mill has already obtained ISO certification.
