Time for hiring: HMT Machine Tools notifies for technical posts

HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore, a subsidiary of the HMT Limited, has invited applications for the post of Executive-Technical ‘A or B’, Senior Associate/Junior Associates ‘A or B’ and Senior Associate ‘A ’. The eligible candidates can attend Walk-in-interview on 21 December 2015.
Incorporated in 1953 by the Government of India as a Machine Tool manufacturing company, HMT over the years diversified into watches, tractors, printing machinery, metal...
forming presses, die casting and plastic processing machinery, CNC systems and bearings.
Successful technology absorption in all product groups through collaborations with world renowned manufacturers and further strengthened by continuous in house R&D. Today, HMT comprises five subsidiaries under the ambit of a Holding Company, which also manages the Tractors Business directly.
Though the government has already decided to close down three HMT units after declaring them as sick PSUs, whose brand of watches and tractors once ruled the market, other two units of the iconic PSU are still making strong profits.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Executive-Technical ‘A or B’: Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering/Production or any degree with Mechanical background with experience of 1-2 years in any of the above areas.
Senior Associate/Junior Associates ‘A or B’: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other Diploma with Mechanical Background and ITI in any discipline with Mechanical background with an experience of 1-2 years in any Discipline.
Senior Associate ‘A ’: Any Graduate with knowledge of computers using MS Office OR Diploma in Secretarial practice with knowledge of computers using MS Office with an experience of 1-2 years in any Discipline.
Age Limit 
Executive-Technical ‘A or B’: Below 30 years
Senior Associate/Junior Associates ‘A or B’: Below 28 years
Senior Associate ‘A ’: Below 28 years
