SJVN Limited is inviting applications for recruitment to the post for Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, and Technician Apprentice (ITI). The candidates eligible for the post can apply in prescribed format on or before 13 December 2016. SJVN, a Miniratna, Category-I and Schedule –‘A’ PSU under administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt of India, was incorporated on May 24, 1988 as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. pattern of 64.46 percent with govt of India, 25.51 percent with Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and rest of 10.03 percent with public. The present paid up capital and authorized capital of SJVN are Rs. 4,136.63 crore and Rs. 7,000 crore, respectively. The present installed capacity of SJVN is 1,959.6 MW (comprising 1912 MW Hydro and 47.6 MW Wind Power).

Eligibility Criteria for Apprentice Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Graduate Apprentice: Candidate should have completed full time Degree in Engineering / Technology in related branch, from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE.
Diploma Apprentice: candidate should have completed full time diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant branch, from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE/ Board of Technical Education of State
ITI Technician: Candidate should have completed 10th and two years ITI course in relevant branch/Trade or 10+2 level vocational course in relevant branch from a recognised university.
Selection Process for Apprentice Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit the preceding examinations.
